Monroe versus Snohomish soccer

A Monroe player takes a header as the team marches for the goal during the March 26 match between Monroe and Snohomish on Monroe’s home field.
After scoring in the first four minutes, the Bearcats hammered in a second goal in the 17th minute of play.  The Bearcats controlled the field in the first half, placing the Snohomish keeper under constant pressure.  
Monroe used adept ball handling and strong passes to dominate the first 40 minutes, finding the net a third time with less than two minutes on the clock. In the Second Period they kept the Panthers scoreless while adding another to their total, winning 4 - 0 on a dry and cold evening.  
Monroe’s Junior Varsity soccer team also beat the Snohomish Junior Varsity team in a different game that day.
