EVERETT — The lingering complications of a kitchen fire appear to have permanently closed Hunan Palace.
MONROE -- State Route 522 is blocked well before entering Monroe. It was a high-speed head-on collision between two cars east of Fales Road and west of the Snohomish River bridge on the highway, Snohomish Regional Fire and Rescue spokesman Peter Mongillo said. Three people were in the two vehicles. All three have been extracted and are advanced life support patients.

Monroe urges caution for NYE fireworks
