Leo Bailey, 7 , in yellow, and his friend Sasha, 8, both of Mukilteo, try out the “stick and rudder” of a small Boeing Flight Club two seater during the Paine Field Community Day Saturday, May 17. Hundreds of families came in the rain to see the planes at the county-owned airport between Everett and Mukilteo. The event included displays of new and old aircraft, and the ability to poke inside some such as a sheriff’s office helicopter.
