When No. 4 Shorecrest knocked the No. 1 Snohomish Panthers around on Tuesday with a 47-23 win. No. 2 Meadowdale also found itself knocked off its perch, leading to have to go to a final chance consolation game to make it to State.
Snohomish and Meadowdale ­­— the two top seeded teams — were pitted in this do-or-die final game, which went into overtime. The final score was Meadowdale 61, Snohomish 59. Meadowdale will continue on to state. Snohomish will not.
