Everett Seagull third base freshman Hallie Oyler just misses the opportunity to tag at third as a Monroe player approaches. The Monroe Bearcats shut the door on powerhouse Everett, 7 - 6, on a sunny evening at Monroe High on Monday, April 24. Bearcat Junior Hadley Oylear led Monroe with a triple and two RBIs. Everett’s pitcher, freshman Anna Luscher, pitched a partial game and went for 4-for-4 at the plate.
Everett’s season has been 8-2 league, 11-4 overall) so far as of April 29. Monroe is nearly the same with 9-3 league, 11-6 overall.
