Lee, 94, passed away peacefully in his sleep March 17th 2024. He was born April 7th, 1929 in Seattle to Harry and Alida Finnick.
He was married to the love of his life Judy for 65 years, also from Ballard who passed away in 2015. Once married, they became long-time residents of Edmonds, Wash. They are survived by their 5 children, Linda, David, Patty, Larry and Karen, who blessed them with 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
As a member of the Tau Kapp Epsilon fraternity Lee graduated from the University of Washington in 1951. Following college and his military service in the Korean War, he began his working career at Gray Bar and retired after 35 years from the Seattle Community College Consortium.
Lee was very devoted to his family spending time volunteering and assisting with his kids’ school and extracurricular activities including music, sports, Boy Scouts and Camp Fire Girls, to name just a few. His favorite past times were playing the piano/organ, traveling and playing golf. As well as being a loving husband and father, he was a people person who always enjoyed those who he came in contact with and will be truly missed by everyone that knew him well and loved him most.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 12-4 pm at Edmonds City Park- Shelter #2 600- 3rd Ave S. Edmonds, WA 98020.
