Philip William Grant

Philip William Grant was born to William and Margaret Grant on September 22, 1938. He was born and raised in Vancouver, Wash. He passed away peacefully on July 6, 2024 at Providence Hospital in Everett, Wash. After his career with the Merchant Marines, Phil moved to Snohomish County and had various jobs as a transport/delivery driver. Phil is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Orval, and his adopted son, Kenneth. He is survived by his sons, Terry (Christina), Sean (Amy); daughters, Kristina (Jeff), and Melody; grandchildren, Holly, Bella, Nathan, Hayden, Derrick, Raven, Cheyenne, and Dani; sister-in-law, Joanne; special nephew, Mitch; special friend Melody; and many other friends and relatives. A private gathering to celebrate Phil’s life will be held at a later date.

Sayre Rose Creighton

Sayre grew up in Snohomish and graduated from WWU in 2012. She was full of love and gave passionate hugs! Her beautiful smile and loving nature shined on us all. Sayre loved her friends, family, dance, lacrosse, biking, sailing, her work at Washington State Parks, hanging with Jeff and their dog Nelson. May her name and spirit live on in our thoughts, hearts and prayers. Remembrances can be made to the dog rescue group, www.doggoneseattle.org

Sandy Erickson

Sandy Erickson was born on June 24, 1954. She was a life long snohomish resident and touched many people’s lives. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 19, 2024. Come celebrate her life on September 15 at 2:30pm at the South Lake Stevens Grange, 2109 103rd Ave SE, Lake Stevens, WA 98258.

John Dean Dolquist

Captain Dean Dolquist (John Dean Dolquist) flew his final mission on Monday, June 17, 2024, to be reunited with family and friends in Heaven. Dean lived a full life – serving in the Navy for 26 years, then serving God through hospitality in the home he shared with his wife, Mary Jo, and in the church they attended. He is survived by his wife and childhood friend, Mary Jo Drennon Fox Dolquist, and his children Don Dolquist (Georgia), Kristin Curtis (Ben), Jenny Dolquist, and Jon Dolquist (Jessi), and stepchildren Tim Fox (Rachelle), Karra Wesley, and Katy Vasbinder (Eric), numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved deeply. Dean was born in Everett, WA January 2, 1943, and raised in Snohomish where he graduated in 1961. He retired in Oak Harbor, WA, where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, crabbing, clamming, shrimping, and being with family and friends. An open house celebration …

June S. Gregory

L. June Seymour Gregory passed away peacefully at home with her daughters by her side on Thursday, June 20th, 2024. June was a legend in every way and lived to the amazing age of 100. June was a treasured kindergarten and first grade teacher in the Bellevue School District for many decades. She was a green-thumbed gardener, a world traveler and an incredible cook well into her 90’s. June was always caring, and she surprised nurses, doctors, and family with hilarious one-liners right up to the end. June was married to Francis E Gregory, Jr. from 1946 until his death in 2002. They loved each other and family fiercely and enjoyed a life enriched by many long-time loyal friends. When Frank passed away 20 years ago, June showed us how to grieve and then how to live life fully after heartbreak. June kept active, travelled, and eventually met a boyfriend …
