EVERETT — WorkSource Snohomish County is relocating from Everett Station to a spot in South Everett.
The nonprofit helps people find new jobs, polish resumes and get career coaching. It also helps businesses develop their employees.
Starting April 7, it will open its new office at 728 134th St. SW, Everett, south of 128th Street and just southwest of the intersection of 4th Avenue West and 132nd Street SW in the Lake Stickney area.
“By relocating, WorkSource Everett is positioning itself to better support the evolving needs of Snohomish County job seekers and employers,” Jessica Dexter, a communications representative for WorkSource’s larger organization Workforce Snohomish County, said.
The new office location will be more accessible to people by being on a single, open ground floor, and it will centralize many pieces to serve customers better, Dexter said.
Workforce Everett also has specialty job hunting programs for veterans, young adults aged 18-24 and people on Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and disability.
It closed its Everett Station office March 17. Virtual services remain open.
WorkSource occupied a large space at Everett Station on the third and fourth floors. Everett Transit director Mike Schmieder said last week they’re looking at options for a replacement tenant.
