The Bearcats were victorious 53-30. It was during a doubleheader of Monroe versus Everett boys and girls that night.
Both teams have had up-and-down seasons. Monroe stood at 4-3 conference, 9-8 overall as of Sunday, Jan. 26; Everett’s season so far has been 2-5 conference, 4-14 overall.
In Wesco 3A, the Snohomish Panthers currently stand undefeated within the conference at 7-0.
Everett’s next home game is Friday against Marysville-Pilchuck. Monroe plays Snohmish this Wednesday in Snohomish, and hosts Marysville-Getchell this Friday.
