The Panthers took a 62 -49 win over rival Stanwood on Snohomish’s home court.
The Spartans came to play, recovering from a 16 - 3 first quarter to hold on to a 7 point lead at the half, 32 - 25. The Panthers took control and stretched out to a 62 - 49 final to go into the lead of WESCO 3A North.
Senior Tyler Gildersleeve-Stiles put in 22 points and made 10 rebounds while Stanwood Spartans junior Ellalee Wortham poured in a
game-high 24 points and hit 10 - 11 at the free throw line.
