Beckham, age 5 from Snohomish, in the foreground, enjoys the colorful model trains at the 32nd Washington State Train Show and Market Place. He came with his brother and grandmother. The event, presented by the United Northwest Model Train Club of Seattle, was at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe on Saturday and Sunday. A large crowd of rail buffs filled three buildings on the Fairgrounds. The show’s proceeds benefitted 4-H Youth Development programs in the county.
