SNOHOMISH — It turned out to be a 105-day countdown with hundreds of its fans watching, waiting and salivating.
Jake’s Cafe, on Second Street, announced last week it would re-open Monday, Feb. 17 after press time. An overnight kitchen fire in early November had damaged and heavily smoked up the restaurant.
The cafe undertook a tremendous cleanup as part of its restoration that went down to the bare walls.
