SNOHOMISH — Firefighter Brett Bergeron got in the water at the Snohomish Aquatic Center and got treading.

Bergeron treaded water for 24 hours to raise money for the Greater Northwest Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The issue is close to him: His wife has Multiple Sclerosis, the chronic disease that damages the central nervous system.

He treaded water from Sunday, Sept. 1 to Monday, Sept. 2 for a straight 24-hour stint. During the event, he is fundraising for MS.

If you didn’t get to see it or contribute at the time, the website is www.tread4ms.org   and all of the donations go to the Greater Northwest Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
