Everett High versus Mountlake Terrace football

Mountlake Terrace Hawks sophomore running back Mason Wilson drives through a large hole behind his blockers in the Hawks’ dominant 34 - 0 win over the Everett Seagulls on Friday evening at Everett’s home turf. The Hawks led by 14 in the first period and scored in every period of the evening. Mountlake Terrace showed a strong defense on the ground and intercepted two of the Seagulls passes.  The Seagulls celebrated a soggy Homecoming at the half.
Everett’s season stood at 1-5 league, 1-6 overall in Wesco 3A South. The Seagulls’ sole win so far was a 20-14 victory over Edmonds-Woodway (1-4 league, 2-5 overall) in September.
