Viking senior Layshon Limar strolls into the end zone late in the first half with one of his three rushing touch downs as Lake Stevens continued their state champion-style winning streak, defeating the up-to-then undefeated Glacier Peak Grizzlies 31 - 10 on a crisp Friday evening Oct. 4 in Lake Stevens. The Vikings used a strong ground game and precise passing to win. With one TD recalled, the Vikings made a gutsy call on 4th down and converted with a good run. The Vikings Defense came alive in the second period, harassing and sacking the Grizzly QB. There were many penalties noticed during this and previous games, sometimes resulting in called back TDs and long losses of yardage and first downs.
