Everett High’s quarterback, sophomore Kai Schmidt, was under heavy pressure all night from Monroe defenders, including sophomore Xander Muller in the photo, during the Bearcats’ crushing 49-0 roll over the struggling Everett Seagulls on Friday, Sept. 27 at Monroe’s field. The Seagulls graduated many players in 2023 and only have four returning offensive and three returning defensive players in 2024. For its second home game in a row, the Bearcats scored more than 40 points in just the First Half.
