In 4A football, #4-seeded Lake Stevens was dropped by #3-seeded Chiwana of the Pasco area with a 48-21 loss Saturday, Nov. 23.
#8 Arlington was kicked by #1 Camas with a 35-21 loss Nov. 23.
Both teams are now out.
In 4A volleyball at the Yakima Sundome, Lake Stevens held its own, taking wins against Tahoma and Camas, before taking a 2-3 loss against Curtis and then taking a 0-3 loss to Wenatchee. No. 1-ranked Curtis ultimately won the 4A championship. Glacier Peak and Arlington both had their runs end in the first round.
In 3A volleyball also in Yakima, the Snohomish Panthers tumbled. They got beat by Seattle Prep but then outdid Stanwood 3-1. Lynnwood put the Panthers out with a 3-1 result. Lynnwood came eighth in the 3A State tourney.
