Glacier Peak volleyball on to State

3-0 win. The games were essentially tied the entire way. The largest margin of lead was displayed in the final score of each game, 25 - 20, 25 -23 and 25 - 22. In each game the lead swung, back and forth on long volleys and smashing service aces.
After  #5-ranked Glacier Peak took a 1-3 loss to #4-ranked Issaquah in the second round, they persevered through two loser-out games on their path to State, winning third round against Woodinville 3-0 Tuesday, Nov. 12, then this game to knock out Mount Si to seal their ticket to State. They followed on to win 3-1 over Arlington Saturday, Nov. 16 for the final round. Lake Stevens took the 4A Districts title with a 11-1 league record over Glacier Peak’s 10-2. For State, seeding was not complete yet. Glacier Peak, Lake Stevens and Arlington made it to State among Snohomish County 4A teams.
