Cold weather shelters open for when freezing temps threaten

Cold weather shelters across the county are now available through mid-March for nights when temperatures are forecasted to fall below 34 degrees, which is a touch above freezing.

There are cold weather shelters in Snohomish, Monroe, Everett, Marysville and Lynnwood. There also are daytime warming centers throughout the county.
