To the Editor:
The point by John Kartak about the Pine Avenue site was spot-on as proven by this little diddy of a response back by Councilwoman Karen Guzak (April 24 Tribune letters): “A church serves only the few members of that church. This purchase and sale will allow this property to serve the whole of our community.”
That is not leftist, that’s actually Maoist thinking, let alone a condescending remark from a council member toward Christian faith.
