Everet AquaSox versus Hillsboro Hops

The Sox lost 7-2 on Saturday, but did come back to win the following day’s game 8-7. They won three of the seven games in last week’s series with the visiting Hops. The Sox continue with a  homestand this week hosting the Spokane Indians in a six-game series that started on Tuesday, June 25. The series includes an early afternoon game on Thursday with a 12:05 p.m. first pitch start. The Northwest League’s first half of the season ended last week with the Sox finishing in fourth place with a 32-34 record.  As of press time on Monday, the team was 2-1 for second-half play and was in third place behind first place Spokane and Vancouver. After going against Spokane, the Sox will be taking on Vancouver as their next opponent.
