Plane overshoots end of Harvey Field, busts fence, hits car

SNOHOMISH — On Saturday at around 11:40 a.m., a private plane landing at Harvey Field overshot the runway, hit a pickup truck traveling Airport Way and ended up in the field across the road.

Snohomish Fire reported no injuries to the people in the plane or truck. The FAA will investigate the incident. 

Two were onboard the plane, the FAA confirmed.

The plane was a RV10 kit sold by Van's Aircraft which can be constructed by hobbyists. The plane is registered to a Vermont man.
