Two sliding AquaSox players are safe at second and third during the early innings of Sunday’s game between the Everett AquaSox and the visiting Hillsboro Hops at Funko Field. demolished a two-run, walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win it for the Sox 5-3.
On Friday, the Sox lost to Hillsboro 6-8. On Saturday, they lost to Hillsboro 3-7.
The Sox are on the road this week with a set of games against the Tri-Cities Dust Devils.
They return to Funko Field on Tuesday, July 30, for a six-game series against the Eugene Emeralds.
As of Sunday, July 21, the Everett AquaSox are 10-14 in the High-A Northwest League. Spokane tops the standings at 18-6 so far this year.
