Everett AquaSox vs. Hillsboro Hops

Two sliding AquaSox players are safe at second and third during the early innings of Sunday’s game between the Everett AquaSox and the visiting Hillsboro Hops at Funko Field. The game strung out to two extra innings. In the final inning, AquaSox batter Hunter Fitz-Gerald drew the game back to a 3-3 tie. Then, AquaSox batter Caleb Cali 
demolished a two-run, walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win it for the Sox 5-3. 
On Friday, the Sox lost to Hillsboro 6-8. On Saturday, they lost to Hillsboro 3-7. 
The Sox are on the road this week with a set of games against the Tri-Cities Dust Devils.
They return to Funko Field on Tuesday, July 30, for a six-game series against the Eugene Emeralds. 
As of Sunday, July 21, the Everett AquaSox are 10-14 in the High-A Northwest League. Spokane tops the standings at 18-6 so far this year.
