Everett firefighter John Poyner demonstrates hose work with Marshall and Walter, age 8 and 6, who came from Mukilteo with their mom for a water cool off day put on by the Everett Fire Department Saturday, July 20 at Wiggums Hollow Park in north Everett.
A second hose day will be Saturday, Aug. 24 at Walter E. Hall Park, 1226 W. Casino Road, from 3-3:30 p.m.
Firefighters sprayed the crowd from two nozzles attached from Everett Fire’s Truck E-2, including the truck’s top-mounted big hose. The unit is captained by Joel Sellenger.
