Monroe Recreational Cricket League celebrates third season opening

MONROE — The cricket league in Monroe recently celebrated the opening of its third season. The teams play games at venues including Lake Tye Park in Monroe.
There are 16 participating teams in the league from near and far, including the Monroe Warriors, the Sultans, the Dark Knights, the Old Monks and the Redmond Titans.
