Thank you to Maeve Smith for sharing the inspiring story of Viktoriia Veprentsova and her journey as an immigrant who fled the war in Ukraine (Dec. 18 Tribune).
It’s heartening to see someone not only finding refuge in our town but also thriving as part of our community. I hope to see more stories that celebrate the contributions and resilience of immigrants who call this town home.
