The Glacier Peak Grizzlies swatted the opening jump, took three steps, drained a three-pointer and never looked back, mauling the Everett Seagulls 72 - 31.
Senior guard Brynna Pukis drives the lane in the GP Grizzlies’ win over Everett on Wednesday, Dec. 4 on the Grizzlies Home Court. Pukis played the first half, scoring six three-pointers and two free throws to lead all scorers with 20 points. Seagull junior guard Akira Shaw led Everett’s team in scoring with 15 points.
The Grizzlies played an aggressive defense, holding the Seagulls to single digit points for most of the first half. Glacier Peak led 45 - 18 at halftime. The Grizzlies showed stellar shooting from the three point lines and in close to remain undefeated in the young season.
