MONROE — The Monroe Fair Days Parade will be Saturday, Aug. 24 starting at 11 a.m. rain or shine  and will be along West Main Street heading to downtown. 

The parade will feature appearances and performances from the Monroe high school cheerleaders and Marching Band, cars from Evergreen Speedway, the Seafair Pirates, Horses of Ixtapa Monroe, equestrian teams, floats and many more!

A market will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wagner Center, 639 W. Main St.

2024 celebrates the Parade’s 86th year!

Over 10,000 spectators line up the streets of Downtown Monroe to watch more than 100 floats and performances!


Road closure

The following streets will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the Parade on Aug. 24:

• 179th SE closed from W. Main St. to 160th St. SE

• Main Street closed from 179th Ave. SE to N. Blakeley St.

• Blakeley closed from W. Main St to W. Hill St.

• Hill Street closed from N. Blakeley to N. Kelsey St.
