RESULTS- County voters so far reject Port of Everett expansion bid , Everett residents dismiss property tax measure


First night election results so far - as of Tuesday the 6th.


A little more than two-thirds of voters in Snohomish County said no to the Port of Everett Prop. 1 to expand its boundaries as of first-night results. 

It's dragging behind at 67% no versus 32% yes.


Meanwhile, Everett's request for a property tax levy lid lift is failing 59% to 40%.



Elsewhere-

In a primary in the 39th, Sam Low will rematch with Robert Sutherland, if first-night results indicate anything. Low led. Sutherland second by a margin off. Others trailed further.

In a primary in the 38th, Julio Cortes appears to be challenged by Annie Fitzgerald for the general election. Fitzgerald leads Bryce Nickel.

In the governor's race, as far as voters within Snohomish County, they've come out for Democrat Bob Ferguson and Republican Dave Reichert. No other candidate had above 10,000 Snohomish County votes. The Snohomish County Republican Party's endorsed candidate Semi Bird had 7,700 votes from county residents and Democrat Mark Mullet around that amount too from county residents.
