SNOHOMISH — At the USA Open Karate Championships in Fort Worth,Texas over the Easter weekend, a local team consisting of Alexandra Rolquin, 14, from the Lake Union/Montana area and Reese Aguinaldo (14) and Rylee Aguinaldo (17) from Lake Stevens area came away with six Medals in Kata and Kumite competing against large teams from Panama, Egypt, Europe and the U.S.
Once again, this elite team made the biggest showing being coached and trained by Trinity Allen, USA National Team Member who is also residing in Seattle. (pictured)
Trinity herself earned a Gold medal as she also competed and became grand champion in Kumite.
