A child looks at glass sun catchers and tiles which were hand molded from 100% recycled glass by artist Maria Ruano at her Seattle-based shop. They were at an early season event held by the Everett Farmers Market Sunday, April 14. The weather was perfectly warm and sunny for shoppers to stroll, with the glass being one the many featured items for sale.
The Everett Farmers Market formally opens May 12 near Wetmore and Wall streets. Snohomish opens Thursday, May 2 at Cedar and First. Monroe opens May 29 in the Galaxy Theatres parking lot.
