SNOHOMISH — The Snohomish Shuttle Service, a community program to commute people between places, got sidelined after the bus was T-boned in Lake Stevens Oct. 21. It was totaled.
A relief effort has been raising money to buy a replacement bus for volunteer transporters Bill and Erin Webster.
On Monday, Nov. 6 they reported that they would pick up a replacement bus. They plan to run it for the Nov. 11 Snohomish holiday market.
As of Nov. 5, $5,800 had been raised. The goal was $15,000 toward buying the replacement bus. The GoFundMe is at www.gofundme

The new bus included some out-of-pocket costs.
The ill-fated trip to Lake Stevens was to bring people to the Lake Stevens Farmers Market. The shuttle also was in service at Kla Ha Ya Days and the Snohomish Art Studio Tour.
