Dunn named County Council chair
SNOHOMISH COUNTY—County Councilmember Megan Dunn is this year’s chair of the Snohomish County Council, and Jared Mead is vice chair.
Dunn represents council district No. 2 including Everett. Dunn was elected to the council in 2019.

Planning Commission vacancy
SNOHOMISH —The city is looking for a volunteer to join the city planning commission, which meets on the First Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. to discuss land-use and zoning matters inside the city limits. It is an advisory board that makes recommendations to the City Council.

Commissioner Van Tormohlen resigned in early January. He wrote in his resignation that it was because of work obligations.
