SNOHOMISH — Churches involved in the annual CROP Walk aim to stamp out hunger through walking events and dine-out fundraisers.
CROP Hunger Walks support the international relief and development work of Church World Service.
Two participating Snohomish restaurants will donate 20% of the value of meals ordered on behalf of CROP Hunger Walk:
El Paraiso Mexican Grill, 1431 Ave. D, will participate for orders made Tuesdaythrough Thursday, Oct. 5, 6 and 7. Its number is 360-568-5406.
Hops n Drops, in Snohomish Station, west of Home Depot, will participate for orders made Tuesday, Oct. 5. Its number is 360-799-6153.
People can also participate in the In-Person 1- or 5-mile Walk on Sunday, Oct. 10. Organizers report that last year, with only online participation possible, the Snohomish community raised over $10,000.
