Assault suspect in Snohomish road rage incident identified

SNOHOMISH — Police have identified the suspect in a road rage incident Tuesday, Nov. 9 near Avenue D and First Street, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said.
The incident happened at around 5:10 p.m. that Tuesday. It started with honking. A man hopped out of a pick up truck and punched the victim in the side of the head with a closed-fist punch, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Courtney O’Keefe said. The punch caused the victim to bleed.
The victim did not exit their vehicle when the incident happened. The victim is not a resident of the city of Snohomish, O’Keefe said.
Snohomish Police stated earlier that “the suspect fled the area on foot. The registered owner of the vehicle is not the suspect in this case.”
