David Flynn - 61%, Kari Zimmerman - 38%
Lea Anne Burke - 55%, incumbent Larry Countryman - 44%.
Karen Guzak - 50.8%, incumbent Steve Dana - 48.8% (65 vote difference).
Incumbent Tom Merrill - 50.8%, Brian Mills - 49.1% (55 vote difference).
Felix Neals ran unopposed.
Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue levy lid lift passes
Voters in Lake Stevens, Monroe, Clearview, Cathcart, Maltby and other areas that comprise Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue’s jurisdiction passed Fire Proposition 1 to reset the property tax levy back to $1.50 with more than 57% in favor.
County Council District 5: Incumbent council member Sam Low (R) won re-election over Brandy Donaghy (D).
Snohomish school board: Incumbent Shaunna Ballas - 50.4%, Christina Ridges - 48.9%. Incumbent Jay Hagen fended off write-in challenger Sarah Ricci.
Snohomish Fire District 4 commission: Incumbent Jim Schmoker took 70% of the vote over Merritt Weese.
City of Everett:
Council District 1: First-time candidate Mary Fosse of the Delta Neighborhood won with 60% of the vote against established incumbent Paul Roberts.
District 2: Paula Rhyne leads Greg Lineberry.
District 3: Don Schwab won with more than 70%.
District 4: Incumbent Liz Vogeli leads Tommie Rubatino.
District 5: Ben Zarlingo leads Demi Chatters.
For mayor, Mayor Cassie Franklin beat underfunded challenger Steve Oss with more than 60% of the vote.
Everett school board: Incumbents Caroline Mason and Traci Mitchell beat their opponents.
Port of Everett commission: Incumbent commissioner David Simpson fended off challenger Scott Murphy.
Monroe school board:
In what was a election between two philosophies toward school, incumbent Jeremiah Campbell and Sarah Johnson hold leads in their school board races over Brian Saulsman and Janine Burkhardt.
On Thursday, the race between Molly Barnes and Mary Reule flipped in Barnes’ favor. Barnes led by 174 votes as of latest available tally.
On Monroe City Council, 38 votes separated incumbent Kirk Scarboro over challenger Jake Walker. Incumbent Kevin Hanford won re-election. Tami Kinney and Kyle Fisher will take the seats vacated by Patsy Cudaback and Jeff Rasmussen.
The election tallies will be certified Nov. 23.
