SNOHOMISH COUNTY — Summer meal programs through school districts ensure no child goes hungry.
In Snohomish, the Kids’ Café summer breakfast and lunch program is free for Snohomish area youth age 18 and younger. Kids just need to show up and enjoy a great meal. Kids’ Café is held Monday through Friday and runs through Friday, August 27.
The following locations will also provide a to-go breakfast for the next day:
Three Rivers Mobile Home Park, 13201 Elliott Rd., 11:15-11:30 a.m..; Snohomish Aquatic Center, 516 Maple Ave., 12:10-12:25 p.m.; Circle H Mobile Home Park, 6413 123rd Ave. SE, 12:45-1 p.m.; Snohomish Mobile Home Park, 1330 Ave. D, 11:20-11:40 a.m; Snohomish High School, 1316 Fifth St., 11:50 a.m.-12:05 p.m.; and Valley View Middle School, 14308 Broadway Ave., 12:20-12:35 p.m.
The Snohomish Boys and Girls Club, 402 Second St., will have breakfast 8:30-9 a.m. and lunch from 11:50 a.m.-12:05 p.m.
In Monroe, there are free meals for youth 18 years of age or younger through Sept. 3 (no service July 5).
Frank Wagner Elementary, 115 Dickinson St. from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Fryelands Elementary, 15286 Fryelands Blvd. from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; and Maltby Elementary, 9700 212th St SE from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Everett School District will have free curbside food pickup services every Wednesday between July 7 and Aug. 4. As of last week, the pick up time is during the 11 a.m. hour until noon, and pick up locations are Evergreen Middle School, 7621 Beverly Lane; Eisenhower Middle School, 10200 25th Ave. SE; Gateway Middle School, 15404 Silver Firs Drive; Heatherwood Middle School, 1419 Trillium Boulevard SE in Mill Creek; and North Middle School, 2514 Rainier Ave.
