SNOHOMISH — The Snohomish School District will bring out its summertime meal van to ensure kids are fed during the school closure.
Superintendent Kent Kultgen said in a statement that this program will operate through March 22 while the district evaluates its plan to keep children fed. Other school districts are rolling out plans on how to help feed students during the closure.
The mobile food van, painted blue, will have sack lunches for those who need them at the following locations and times Monday through Friday:
• Boys & Girls Club: 10:30 to 10:55 a.m.
• Snohomish Aquatic Center: 11-11:25 a.m.
• Emerson Elementary: 11:30-11:55 a.m.
• Snohomish High School: Noon to 12:25 p.m. (truck will be at front entrance to school [south parking lot]).
• Circle H Mobile Home Park: 12:40 to 1 p.m.
• Three Rivers Mobile Home Park: 11:15 to 11:45 a.m.
