SNOHOMISH — The Snohomish Depot building at 2606 Bickford Ave. recently sold, and will be under construction soon to prepare it for its future use.
It will be home to OM3 Surgery, which offers care related to the mouth, face and teeth. Other locations are in Mill Creek, Everett and Smokey Point. The practice has three physicians. The building is owned by Sylvia Kim and husband Peter H. Kim.
Sylvia Kim said the previous owners were particular about who would purchase the train station- themed building, which is why it took so long for it to sell. The prior owners did not wish to be named, as they are very private, she said.
The 9,800-square-foot building will include 7,300 square feet of medical space as well as a large conference space for continuing education and community events. The remaining 2,500 square feet will be a coffee shop run by Sylvia Kim. She said she wants to call it Legacy Coffee as a space for people to gather, and reflect on what they bring to the world. She is motivated by restaurateur parents, who always treated their customers like family.
Kim said construction will begin soon. A building permit was submitted in September.
