Everett candidates running for office for council, school board

EVERETT —

Everett City Council
Four folks are running for the seat being vacated by retiring Councilwoman Brenda Stonecipher. The four are former Councilman Scott Bader, planning commissioner Demi Chatters, Brian Hennesy and Bill Wheeler.
Council incumbent Judy Tuohy will face Judith Martinez and Bryce Nickel.

Everett School Board
Everett School Board member Jen Hirman, an appointee, will face challenger Charles Mister, Jr. for election.
Pam LeSesne is not running again. Four have filed for the seat: Janelle Burke, Ryne Rohla, Charles Adkins and Roman Rowlinski.
Rohla ran for a state House seat against April Berg last year. Burke and Mister have run as candidates for years.

County races
The county auditor’s race is a three-way battle with incumbent Garth Fell and challengers Robert Sutherland and Cindy Gobel. Gobel ran against Fell last time around; Sutherland last year lost a re-election bid to Sam Low for state Representative.
Sheriff’s office candidates Adam Fortney and Susanna Johnson established campaigns long ago.
County Council incumbent Megan Dunn, a Democrat, will face Georgia Fisher, a Republican, and Kristina A. Mitchell, who states no party preference.
