SNOHOMISH — Mike Carver drove his unmistakable red-and-white “bubble truck” everywhere, cruising Snohomish while playing classic tunes loudly.
The man who made so many people smile has died, a person in contact with his adult children confirmed.
A 1972 Snohomish High graduate, Carver was in his late 60s. His death apparently was sudden late last week.
Carver showed pride of his alma mater as part of the customizations of his ‘67 Ford rig. Big speakers got built into the truck bed, and bubbles came out the back.
His cruising made him a memorable part of small-town Snohomish.
What’s next for his truck is unknown. Some said the family should donate it to the school district to keep it rolling.
