SNOHOMISH — Applications are being taken until next week for people interested in serving on the board for Snohomish Fire.
The opening is available because board member Jim Schmoker is exiting for personal reasons. This is a position with decision-making power as part of a board of three.
Here are some application details:
"Submit a letter of interest by 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 9th to Fire Chief Don Waller.
Letters can be emailed to chief@snohomishfire.org or mailed or hand delivered to Station 43 Headquarters at 1525 Avenue D, Snohomish, WA 98290.
"Letters of interest should address the following:
* Why you are interested in serving the Community and Fire District #4?
* How do your background and experience allow you to represent the community?
* What are your expectations and/or knowledge of Fire District #4?
* What is your level of commitment to Fire District #4?
