Delayed ribbon cutting for revamped Forest Park

EVERETT — The City of Everett held a small ribbon cutting ceremony on July 27 in honor of the new Forest Park playground completed last year. The event was delayed due to COVID restrictions.
The revamped play space features artificial turf with padding and ADA accessible structures.
Giving a nod to the park’s origin as a zoo is “Rosie the Elephant,” a new structure to entertain park-goers.
