Meeting on Mukilteo ferry terminal replacement plan this Wednesday
MUKILTEO — A public meeting Wednesday, Feb. 15 will tell the public what to anticipate with this
summer’s replacement of the five-decade-old Mukilteo ferry terminal.
State Department of Transportation officials will be on hand to provide construction updates, and give updated design plans.
The plan is to move the ferry terminal point a few hundred yards eastward to give a broader entry and a better vehicle staging situation.
There will also be ferry
entry lane traffic improvements along the Mukilteo Speedway.
The new $140 million terminal should be complete in late 2019.
The meeting will start at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15 at the Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave.
