Coombs, Diane

Rebecca Diane Coombs
Our dear Rebecca Diane Coombs (Wilson) died unexpectedly in Honolulu, Hawaii. The cause of death and exact date are unknown at this time. She was born on December 12, 1959 to Orville and Diane Coombs of Snohomish, Washington.
Rebecca’s presence filled the room with her fun loving, smart and witty ways. She was a loyal and truthful friend to many and loved by all. Rebecca lived a full life in her short time here. As a young girl she loved her horse “Trouble” and then as a teen she embarked on a round trip bike ride to Spokane. In high school she was voted the “most radical.” She attended the UW and later ECC. But her biggest joy of all was being Mom to Jacob whom she loves unconditionally and then Grandma to her “Grands” children Aurora, Ariel, Jacinth and Jasmine Wilson.
These four grandchildren were her world and the reason she moved to Hawaii! Rebecca would literally sparkle when she spoke of her Grands. She was an awesome Grandma, loved for her wit and intelligence.
Please join us in a Celebration of Rebecca Coombs-Coker’s life July 27 at the large Hill Park Gazebo at 5:30pm til about 8:30pm. Please feel free to bring a dish to share. If you would like to share your favorite memory or funny story, we would love for you to speak at the picnic! This is a time to honor and celebrate Rebecca’s life! Friends and family are all welcome.
Preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Kevin Coker; Dad, Orville Coombs and brother, Paul Coombs. Survived by her son Jacob Orville Wilson and his family; Kevin Coker, Jr.; Mother, Diane Coombs; sister, Mary Hendrickson; brother, Mike Coombs (Carolyn); sister, Rachel Anderson (Matt) and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
