Nellie WedlerNellie Marie Wedler
February 19, 1926 –
September 13, 2017

Nellie Marie Wedler passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at the age of 91 at 11:10 a.m. within the Providence Hospice facility in Everett Wash. Nellie was born on February 19, 1926.
Nellie’s passing marks the end of a love story spanning over 80 years. It began in 1937, Nellie Marie Cranmore and Virgil Morgan met while attending Arlington High School where they dreamed of life while walking hand in hand.
Unfortunately, World War II set the high school sweethearts on different paths, resulting in separate marriages. Both led happy, fulfilling lives raising children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
After 70 years both Nellie and Virgil’s spouses passed away, and as fate would have it, Virgil Morgan and Nellie Wedler reunited and continued where they left off before the War; hand in hand once again dreaming of what life had in store.
Sadly, Nellie passed away. By her side Virgil held her hand, and as they had done once before they had to say goodbye as Nellie passed from Virgil’s sturdy hands to our Heavenly Father’s.
Nellie was preceded in death by husband John J. Wedler; son James D. Wedler; sisters Vantella & Ellery Tyler, Hazel & Oliver Tyler and Ida Mae Bruseth.
She is survived by the Love of her life, Virgil Morgan; son Dan, wife Tracey, and their children Hayley and Nicholas Wedler; daughter Diane Ericksen and her companion Jerry Rasmussen; and grandson Matthew Wedler, only son of James.
