Tuengel, RichardRichard Louis Tuengel
With deep sorrow we announce the passing of our amazing husband, father and grandpa, Richard Louis Tuengel, 85, of Seabeck WA.
Richard is survived by the love of his life for over 59 years, Joyce Earlene Tuengel; four children; James, Debora, Cathy, Pat and two grandchildren; Chalynn and Skyler.
Richard retired as a Senior Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force in Feb.1971. Always a worker, he spent the next 27 years as a Barker Operator for Seattle Snohomish Mill and upon retiring he spent several years building gates for Cascade Fence until he was forced by his family to enjoy retired life and move closer to his children in Seabeck. Richard found joy in P-57 Mustang Planes, new cars and gardening.
A Celebration of Richard’s Life will be held at the family’s residence in Seabeck on Saturday, September 9th, 12- 6pm. In lieu of flowers, the family will accept donations to be given in Richard’s name to the Franciscan Hospice House, University Place Tacoma, WA. Please visit Richard’s online guestbook at www.lewischapel.com
