Patricia Rose Price Knott
October 24, 1930 – June 13, 2017

Patricia Rose Price Knott, 86, Santa Maria, CA, passed away on 13 June, 2017 after a brief illness. Patricia was born in Snohomish, Washington on 24 October, 1930. Patricia (Pat)and her husband Tom moved to Santa Maria eighteen years ago.
Pat attended Central Grade School, Snohomish Junior High, and graduated from Snohomish High School in 1949. After graduating from Western Washington State College (now Washington State University) in 1953, Pat began a 37-year career as an elementary school teacher. Twenty-eight of those years were with the El Monte School District.
Pat loved reading, baseball, traveling with her husband Tom, and visits from family. After she retired in 1986, Pat and her husband Tom traveled extensively in Europe, Australia, and the US. Pat was a huge fan of the California Angels.
Pat is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Tom Knott; five step-children, numerous step-grandchildren, nephews Dan Dittmer, Mike Price, Matt Price, Edd Price, Ritch Price, and nieces Kathleen Johnston, and Stefanie Plummer.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents Wilbur (Mac) McWithy Price, Sr. and Olive Christine Chapelle Price; brothers Wilbur McWithy Price, Jr., Richard Albert Price, and Curtis Alfred Price, and sister Peggy Olive Price Dittmer.
A graveside service for family and friends, was held Tuesday, 20 June, 2017, at the Santa Maria cemetery. A Celebration of Pat’s life is scheduled on Saturday, 21 October, 2017 at the Sunnyhills’ Senior Mobile Park Recreational Center. Funeral arrangements are by Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary.
