Norma Lou FinerNorma Lou Finer
1933 – 2016

Norma Lou Finer, 83 passed peacefully on September 5th, 2016. She was born on January 4th, 1933 in San Luis Obispo, California. She was one of eight children who were raised on the farm in Snohomish, Washington. Norma graduated from Snohomish High School where she excelled in music with a beautiful voice and also enjoyed poetry. Norma married Robert Bannworth in 1951. From this marriage she had a son Robert. In 1955 she married George Finer and she had three children Kim (Daryl) Langenberg, Julie, and Jim (Sharon) along with 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Norma was preceded in death by her mother and father William Lester and Edith Belle Henrickson and her siblings Arnold and(Teresa) Henrickson, Lee and( Eileen) Henrickson, Harley Henrickson, Evelyn and (George) Pearl, Lawrence Henrickson, Ernest Henrickson and Shirley Henrickson. Survivors include Joyce and Virginia Henrickson, sister in-laws.
Norma enjoyed volunteering for Unity Hospice after her retirement. She was awarded Volunteer of the Year. Norma loved sports especially football where she cheered on the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks. Her true pride and joy were her kids.
The Memorial Service will be held in Seattle, Washington, Friday, September 23 at 11:00AM at Westwood Christian Community Church, 9252 16th Ave. SW. Seattle, Washington.
