He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, worked in local fire suppression, and attended WWU, then formed his own landscaping business, which he operated successfully for nearly 49 years. His hard work, generosity, and inspired vision kept him constantly in demand; besides strong relationships, he also leaves behind many beautiful landscape features.
He spent his more than seven decades cultivating deep and wide roots in the area, especially among classmates and Boy Scout families, as he was the Outdoor Recreation Advisor for Troop 356 for many years. He made new friends and kept the old - he was the goldest of all, a hub of many spokes, the quiet, wise man.
Jenner‘s broad shoulders easily carried the burdens of responsibility; offering wisdom, discernment, and grace for everyone he dealt with. He was a man who got things done - beautifully, efficiently, and excellently. He loved sharing the wonders of God’s creation on land and on the water and was an inspiration to many, many people.
